NORAD ID: 36595
Int'l Code: 2010-026A
Launch date: June 4, 2010

Launch site: AIR FORCE EASTERN TEST RANGE (AFETR)
Decay date: 2010-06-27

Defying questionable odds and technical gremlins, the Falcon 9 rocket completed a nearly flawless first flight Friday afternoon, successfully hitting a bullseye 155 miles [250 km] high in space after a drama-filled countdown and launch. The rocket was targeting a 155-mile-high orbit inclined 34.5 degrees to the equator. The flight's payload was a ground test article of the Dragon spacecraft, but the capsule stayed attached to the Falcon 9 upper stage as designed.
