MOVE-II is the second satellite constructed by the student team MOVE (Munich Orbital Verification Experiment), located at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The goal of the CubeSat was to provide students at the university with hands-on experience in satellite development. The satellite bus was almost entirely self-developed; from the on board computer to the attitude control system, from the structure to the thermal simulations. As a scientific payload, the quadruple Junction solar cells, provided by AzurSpace, were tested for their long-term behavior. A comparison of behavior between coated and uncoated solar cells was made.
