HYDROGNSS-2 is a small LEO satellite mission that uses GNSS?reflectometry (measuring signals from GPS/GLONASS/Galileo after they reflect off the Earth) to demonstrate and retrieve hydrological information (surface water extent, flood mapping, soil moisture and related parameters). It is a technology/demonstration small satellite (CubeSat/smallsat class) flown to test GNSS?R techniques for operational hydrology applications.
