KOMPSAT-7 is an advanced Earth observation satellite developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) that launched on December 1, 2025, aboard an Arianespace Vega C rocket. The satellite, nicknamed Arirang-7, is designed to provide high-resolution optical imagery for South Korea's government and institutions, supporting applications like disaster monitoring and land use planning.
