China Successfully Orbits Experimental Satellite

China has launched a new experimental satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern Gobi desert on Sunday, state-run Xinhua news agency reported. The Shijian-11-07 was boosted by Long March 2C launch vehicle at 05:13 UTC. This is the seventh in a series of satellites that – according to Chinese media – known as "experimental satellites". They are developed by China Spacesat Co. under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. More
