Digital Globe's next satellite launches Sept. 18

Satellite imagery seller Digital Globe plans to put its second satellite, WordView-1, into orbit Sept. 18, launching the craft from Vandenburg Air Force Base in California. The exact launch date of the satellite wasn't previously known. WorldView-1 will add to the commercial image database offered for sale by the Longmont-based company. More
