"Proton-M" rocket with European satellite launched from Baikonur

Carrier rocket "Proton-M" with the upper stage "Breeze-M", designed to launch the European satellite communications W3D, was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome (Kazakhstan). Launch was made at the estimated time - 20:02 MSK. The satellite should be separated from the upper stage on May 15 at 05:15 MSK. The contract for the use of rocket "Proton-M" for launch by W3D, made Thales Alenia Space to order one of the leading satellite operators in France Eutelsat, entered the Russian-American joint venture International Launch Services Inc.
