STS-117 Mission Crew Leaves for Pad

After suiting up, the astronauts made their way out of their quarters of the Operations and Checkout Building to the cheers and applause from the crowd wishing them a successful mission. Returning the waves, the Atlantis crew boarded NASA's silver Astrovan that takes them on the 20-minute trip to Launch Pad 39A. More
