Sochi 2014 announced that the Federal Agency of Forestry (Rosleskhoz) has launched a satellite monitoring system for Sochi and the Krasnodar Region forests to control compliance for the Russian environmental legislation during Sochi’s preparation for the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
