SpaceX has launched the EarthCARE climate research satellite for ESA and JAXA

The joint European-Japanese EarthCARE satellite has begun its mission to improve our understanding of Earth’s climate Tuesday, with a launch atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
