The Arabsat 4B is the ARABSATs 4th generation satellite. The satellite will carry direct-to-home television, interactive TV and Internet broadband services, across the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Europe. The Arabsat 4B is an EADS Astrium Eurostar E2000+ model. Its launch mass is of 3304kg (with dry mass of 1487 kg). The satellite carries a payload of 32 transponders in Ku -band. It will have a 15-year design lifetime at Geostationary orbital position, 26 degrees East longtitude.
