GSAT0210 (GALILEO 13) and GSAT0211 (GALILEO 14) joined Europe's Galileo navigation fleet in orbit together after launch from French Guiana aboard a Soyuz rocket, giving the system a dozen of its planned 30 members. The two satellites were made by OHB System of Bremen, Germany, with navigation instrumentation built by Britain's Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. The satellites are assigned to Slot No. 2 and No. 7 in Plane A of the Galileo fleet, which will consist of three orbital pathways, each with eight operational satellites.
